This notice explains how we handle your information when you visit the marqey website or contact us.
Who controls your data?
For matters connected to Türkiye, the responsible party is Tuğkan Şahinler, who runs the marqey operation in Türkiye. The Turkish data protection disclosure (KVKK) describes the application channels for those requests.
For requests from outside Türkiye, the responsible party is the Netherlands business of marqey. Official registration details of the Netherlands business will be published here once finalised; the Legal Notice page will be updated at the same time.
What we collect
When you only visit the website, technical information such as device, browser, IP address, pages visited and cookie preferences may arise.
When you fill in a contact, demo or quote form, we receive the details you enter: name, company, phone number, e-mail address and your message.
When you reach us by phone or e-mail, we process the information you share in that exchange.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- review and answer your request
- stay in contact with you
- run the demo, quote and sales process
- resolve support requests
- keep the website secure and working
- measure how the site is used
- send you information about our products and services, if you gave consent
- meet our legal obligations
Replying to your request does not mean you agreed to marketing.
Where we store it: ops.marqey.com
Lead details we receive through forms, e-mails and calls may be kept in ops.marqey.com, the system where marqey’s Türkiye operation is managed. This system runs in Türkiye. If you contact us from the Netherlands or elsewhere outside Türkiye, your form and enquiry records may still be stored there.
We use this system so requests do not get lost, meetings get planned, quotes move forward and your communication preferences stay on record.
Sharing
We do not sell your information.
We share information only as far as the service requires, with providers of hosting, communication, security, analytics and technical support. Where the law obliges us, we also provide information to the competent public authorities.
Where a service provider’s systems are located outside Türkiye, the transfer takes place under the cross-border transfer provisions of the Turkish data protection law (KVKK).
Marketing preferences
We ask for separate consent before sending marketing messages. If you consent, we contact you by e-mail, SMS, phone or the other channels you allowed.
Withdraw your consent at any time by:
- using the unsubscribe link in the message
- following the opt-out route stated in an SMS
- writing to info@marqey.com
- calling 0 850 303 76 56
Cookies
The website uses the cookies it needs to function, and analytics, functional or advertising cookies only if you allow them. The purpose, type and retention period of each cookie are explained in the Cookie Policy. Change your choice through the “Cookie Preferences” link on the site.
Security
We apply technical and organisational measures fit for the nature of the work to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss and unlawful use.
No transfer over the internet is entirely free of risk. If you notice a security problem, tell us at info@marqey.com.
Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as the purpose of collection or the applicable law requires. When that period ends, we delete, destroy or anonymise the data.
Detailed retention periods are listed in the Turkish data protection disclosure (KVKK), which is available in Turkish only.
Your rights
Where the GDPR applies to you, you hold the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Where processing rests on consent, you withdraw that consent at any time.
To use these rights, write to info@marqey.com. You also hold the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority; in the Netherlands, this is the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Third-party links
The website may contain links to other sites. marqey is not responsible for the data practices of those sites; read their own privacy notices.
Children’s data
The website presents products and services for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. If we notice that a child’s data reached us unlawfully, we delete it.
Changes to this notice
We update this notice when our services or the law change. The current text and its revision date appear on this page.
