About marqey
What is marqey?
marqey is a business management platform that connects finance, sales, inventory, manufacturing, e-commerce, purchasing, POS, HR and field work within the agreed scope. A business can start with only the processes it needs.
Is marqey an ERP?
The concepts overlap. marqey connects accounting, inventory, sales, manufacturing and e-commerce within the agreed scope. Look past the label and examine how your own work, approvals and records will run.
Who is marqey built for?
marqey is relevant when teams re-enter the same data across spreadsheets or programs, cannot trust stock or order status, or merge files for management reporting. A business whose current setup solves those problems may not need a change.
What do we cover in the first meeting?
The tools you use today, the job that breaks down most often, and the connections you can't do without. Detailed technical review comes later.
Can we start with a single product?
Yes. Start with the product, data and connections required for one critical process. Add related products after the team uses the first scope consistently.
Where does AI come in?
It can summarise authorised operational records, prepare alerts and support a decision. It does not change a record or make a management decision without a separate rule and approval.
Setup and Going Live
Which data gets migrated?
We review accounts, products, stock, pricing, open transactions and the historical records you need. The proposal spells out exactly what moves.
Does daily work stop during the switch?
We plan around your current setup, a test environment, data prep and a go-live date. The migration plan addresses downtime risk according to the nature of the work.
How are integrations decided?
Each required bank, marketplace, carrier, payment provider or other service is named in the proposal. The connection definition states data direction, update frequency and operational ownership.
How do user permissions work?
Each role defines the records a user may see, the actions they may take and the approvals they may give. Users test daily scenarios with those permissions before go-live.
How do training and support work?
Core training runs through your everyday work scenarios. The contract sets out live-use support and how new requests get handled.
Proposal and Services
How is price set?
Price reflects the products in the first phase, user roles, data migration, connections, configuration, testing and training. The proposal separates one-off implementation from the agreed monthly service.
What's the difference between the initial setup and the monthly service?
Setup, implementation and migration sit in the project budget. Hosting, backups, updates and the support you've agreed to sit in the monthly service.
What does the proposal show?
The proposal separates starting scope, implementation work, responsibilities, fees, monthly services and out-of-scope items. This lets the team distinguish committed work from later options before signing.
What should I bring to the first meeting?
Just walk us through the tools you use today, the job you want to fix first, and the connections you can't do without. Detailed technical review comes later.
